State Diagram Exercises

I understand that there is no requirement to post our solutions to these exercises, but this seemed as good a place as any to reflect on them.

I'm doing the exercises using pencil and paper because, at this stage, my primary concern is whether my ideas are correct. For the assignment I hope to use the Umbrello case tool.
